Download an Instagram Reel on iPhone
On iPhone, the ReKlip shortcut lets you download a Reel without leaving Instagram: tap Share on the Reel, choose ReKlip, and the video lands in your Files or gallery.

The shortcut in the Share menu
Instagram does not let you save someone else's Reel to your iPhone. The Apple shortcut adds that option right in the Share menu: one tap from the Reel and ReKlip grabs the file, with no link to copy by hand and no Safari to open.
Install once, forget it
You add the shortcut once from ReKlip's Shortcut page, allow it on first use, and it stays in the Share sheet for all your future Reels. No third-party Instagram app, no login to your account.
The browser flow as a backup
If you prefer, you can also copy the Reel link (the three dots, then Copy link) and paste it on reklip.app in Safari. You get the same 9:16 vertical video, but the shortcut stays the shortest gesture on iPhone.

- Does the shortcut touch my Instagram account?
- No. The shortcut does not log into Instagram: it only passes the public Reel link to ReKlip, which returns the video.
- Which Reels work?
- Reels from public accounts. Content from private accounts is not accessible.
- Where does the video land?
- Depending on your setting, the file goes to the Files app or to Photos, ready to repost.
- Is it free?
- Yes for the download. The fully unmarked version and the advanced outputs require a member account.
